The PowerSmack blog has two posts asking Austin Energy to jumpstart its lagging commitment to renewable energy. Worth a read. That said, I’d like to see their data adjusted for population/customer portfolio. KAW readers already know that I find that slight increases in energy costs to green our portfolio are worth it, especially if we can come up with programs to deal with low-income customers that might be stretched by the increase.
Anyway, check out the PowerSmack blog. Hopefully, we’ll get more details on the organizing going on to keep AE accountable to showing some green leadership.
